Leo’s Loo Too – Cat Care Without The Scooping!

For Indie’s fifth birthday we got her a kitten! I can’t even believe I’m typing that! All my life I’ve been a dog person, and I can definitely say the same for Stephen, but after our sweet Zoey passed away in November Indie began begging and begging for a cat and we decided what better way to fill that void than with something entirely different and new – a welcome change, something fresh and different for our family. The girls are totally in love with her, and we are slowly learning now to incorporate a kitty into our lives! One thing that has made it SO much easier has been the Leo’s Loo Too Smart Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box. Read on to hear about how this machine has changed our lives and made being a cat family that much more pleasant!

My biggest issue with impending cat ownership was the whole “pooping in the house” situation. I was really afraid of smells, scooping, grossness and general unsanitary situations – like my toddler touching in and around the litter and my dog sniffing/eating the cat poop (which he totally would!). So one of the first things I secured was this automated litterbox from Casa Leo. The modern design fits in seamlessly with my home’s aesthetic. I chose the sage green, but it’s available in four colors!

It’s app connected and is compatible with both Alexa and Google voice controls. It sends me notifications for every ‘potty’ visit, monitors waste levels, and logs kitty’s weight and activity. The triple-layer safety protection feature combines an array of sensors and radar to keep your cat safe at all times, which is a huge plus. Our kitten (named Winnie!) is currently only five pounds – and it was of utmost importance to me that we incorporated a device that she’d be safe inside of.

It’s whisper quiet during cleaning cycles, which is a huge bonus, and it has a fully contained waste drawer with a lid that works in tandem with a sanitizing UV light to reduce odor and bacteria for a cleaner, fresher home. We’ve had it up and running for two weeks now, and monitoring her weight has been really cool to see. It has also been completely odor-controlled which I find to be amazing!

At first, we used Dr. Elsey’s Ultra Litter combined with a 1/4 cup of the same brand’s ‘Cat Attract’ mixed in to lure Winnie over but eventually she took to it and now she hops into the Leo’s Loo Too like a pro! Every now and then I’ll be out and about and my phone will ‘ping!‘ to let me know that she’s used her potty. How cool is that?! I highly recommend this product. Ease of use, combined with aesthetics & functionality make it worth the price tag of $649.99. It’s another piece that will enhance your house and turn it into a ‘smart home’ to change your life for the better!
