THIS is what it looks like to TRULY find strength and fitness. I understand that a group “boot camp” style setting can seem intimidating at first - but what a GIFT @burnbootcampmorristownnj has been to my life this past year. I have been tricking my body by doing widely varied workouts each day, with no two days alike. Lots of strength and LOTS of conditioning. It takes two to tango if you want to see meaningful body composition change. Along with a format that’s quite literally built for this type of athletic progress, there are the trainers that really truly want to see you succeed. That push you further than what you thought you were capable of. That know when it’s time to “mod up” to the next level. The peer role modeling that keeps you going, even on your worst days… and the FRIENDSHIPS! True camaraderie is found within these walls. We are proud of each other for our OWN personal gains, and seeing these other strong and committed women every morning 6 days a week has been the icing on a seriously life changing cake. I have yo-yoed with the best of them. I have tried every trick in the book to look and feel amazing my entire adult life. This is the BEST shape I’ve ever been in, and it’s only just beginning. I have done all of this in correlation with a low dose of Zepbound which has gotten my PCOS under control in ways I truly did not expect… but without this consistent, challenging training (and HEAVY lifting) I would not be seeing the same results. I don’t post this to fish for compliments…. I post this to maybe (hopefully) inspire someone else to walk through those doors and just see what happens next.
